„The Original Soundtrack“ ist das dritte Studioalbum der englischen Rockband 10cc. Es erschien 1975 und erreichte Platz drei der britischen Albumcharts. Der Original Soundtrack enthält die Singles „Life Is a Minestrone“ und „I’m Not in Love“, den beliebtesten Song der Band.
Das Album erhielt gute Kritiken, als es im März 1975 von Mercury Records auf LP, 8-Spur-Platte und Kassette veröffentlicht wurde. Es erreichte Platz 976 der All-Time Top 1000 Alben (2000).
Aufgenommen und produziert wurde das Album 1974 von der Band in den Strawberry Studios, mit Eric Stewart als Tontechniker und Abmischung. Es war das erste Album, das Mercury Records veröffentlichte, nachdem die Band im Februar 1975 für eine Million Dollar unter Vertrag genommen worden war. Auslöser für den Deal war die Tatsache, dass die Plattenmanager einen Song gehört hatten – „I’m Not in Love“.
